Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021. She will be the Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent for Space and Defense, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space from NASA to the recently formed Space Force as well as commercial space businesses as well as space tourism. Kristin's parents are both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space. She has also been a White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings, the 2020 Presidential campaign and efforts by two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. She also was a frequent traveler with President Trump as well as Vice President Trump frequently. It included a secret trip to Afghanistan. Before being hired by the channel in, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing in local TV news stations in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she won an Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin started Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. Kristin is married to her daughter and 3-year-old daughter in Washington, D.C.
